Paper trading only

Sharpe League is an educational competition using simulated funds. It does not execute real-money trades, provide investment advice, or guarantee that hypothetical performance can be reproduced in live markets.

Eligibility and fair play

You must provide accurate account and university information, use only an Alpaca paper account you control, and not manipulate rankings or interfere with the service. We may remove ineligible or abusive entries.

Broker connection

You authorize Sharpe League to use the supplied paper API credentials to read and synchronize the associated simulated portfolio. Do not provide live-trading credentials.

Availability and scoring

The MVP may change, experience downtime, or recalculate rankings when scoring defects are corrected. The displayed score version identifies the rules used for a snapshot.

Account removal

You may disconnect your broker credentials at any time. Account-deletion requests will remove stored credentials and associated personal competition data subject to necessary security and legal retention.

These MVP terms require legal review before a broad public launch.
